No unnecessary fillers like, Wheat, Oat Feed, Soya Bean Hulls & Oil, Peas, Yeast, Alfalfa Meal (esp. Older buns), Linseeds, Yukka Extract, cereals, grains & other fillers that are not naturally something a bun would eat. SHUTTLE

Bunny Nature Shuttle food supports your rabbit in the transition from mixed food to pellet food. The food is packed with different herbs and has been developed to resemble the natural eating habits of rabbits as closely as possible.Bunny Nature Shuttle food is specifically developed for when you want your rabbit to switch from mixed food to pellet food. Many mixed foods do not contain the most optimal ratios of all nutrients –they often have a high sugar and starch content. In addition, with mixed food there is a risk that the animal will eat selectively, and thus not take in all the necessary nutrients. A change in diet is a big change for a rabbit. The animal’s digestion needs to get used to the new diet, so the transition should take place gradually. Shuttle feed helps your rabbit in transitioning from muesli-type food to a pellet food. The food has been developed to resemble the natural food of rabbits as closely as possible and consists partly of pressed and partly of separate ingredients. You can give Bunny Nature Shuttle Rabbit as you would any pellet to your pet. Make sure there is always enough hay and fresh water available. Prior to finishing the Shuttle package, you can transition to Rabbit Dream Senior or Rabbit Dream Junior.

Feeding Guide: 

Although the packaging states to keep the bowl full, please refrain from doing this as we know our buns need to wear their teeth down on hay. So please maintain the 85% – 90% hay per day & use the pellets as a treat/welfare check once a day.

Special Note:

At the refuge we have had some very sick bunnies come in or be born here. 

We don’t know what & don’t profess to understand why, but sugar has been a major problem for these poor bunnies. We had one litter of 5 born who all passed but one before Dr Gloria & I worked out the solution to their problem. The lowest sugar diet possible.
